Translation:

I used to be a lost sheep that continued being lost because I did not the right way that lead to the flock of the Good Shepherd. Now you have been made an instrument of the Good Shepherd to teach me the correct way to return to the flock. Thank You very much Elder Hemmert, our brother in God. We are happy because we were taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ by you.
